Dear Friends and Neighbors, Thank you so much for taking time to learn about my 2010 campaign for State Representative in District 51. It has been a privilege to represent the interests of you, my Pinellas County residents, in our state capitol. My dedication to public service and desire to foster good ideas and good public policy, regardless of party labels, has proved productive. However, I have not lost sight of the great distance we have to go, namely on diversifying Florida's economy and creating new jobs, controlling health care costs, and reducing the burden of property taxes and windstorm insurance on Floridians.  I believe that voters have called us to a higher standard. Tired of ideological inaction, they want us to get along and they want results. For me, that means working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to make our state the best it can be. Making Florida a better place to raise a family and run a business means ensuring affordable and accessible property insurance, lowering taxes, raising educational standards and funding, improving health care, and finding new solutions for public safety. My record proves that this isn't empty campaign rhetoric. It is truly what I believe is right, and how I vote. Thank you again for visiting.
